Welcome to our guesthouse – a peaceful retreat created with love for nature, art, and the Italian way of life. We’re not a luxury hotel, but something more personal and real – a place filled with sunshine, greenery, and heartfelt hospitality. Perfect for a relaxing holiday, a creative escape, a weekend getaway, or simply a slower moment for yourself.
Due Ruote e Pennello was born from two passions – exploring on two wheels and painting. Inspired by Calabria’s landscapes, we decided to build a place that blends nature, art, and the calm of southern Italy. Tucked between the sea and the mountains, our guesthouse is a space where you’ll instantly feel at home.
We want you to feel at ease – as if visiting friends who know when to offer you coffee and when to leave you alone with the view. We offer comfort, care, and freedom – not artificial luxury, but something much more honest.
cozy rooms with air conditioning, comfortable beds, and private bathrooms
a spacious garden with olive trees and fruit orchards
a pool with sun loungers and hammocks in the shade
breakfast, a shared kitchen, and coffee available all day
bicycles, scooters, and motorcycles for guest use
painting retreats, workshops, and evenings by the fire
We’re a couple who live here, renovate the house, plant trees, cook meals, and take care of every detail. There’s no formal reception – just warm smiles and genuine hospitality. We’re happy to recommend places to visit, local restaurants, or show you a side of Calabria you won’t find in a guidebook.
Allow yourself to slow down. Paint, swim, nap, breathe. Book your stay and step into our little world – simple, heartfelt, and beautifully imperfect.
Due Ruote e Pennello – southern hospitality at its finest.
“Due Ruote e Pennello is where time slows down. Breakfast under the olive tree, a lazy afternoon by the pool, and wine by the fire at night – what more could you want?”
Anna, Warsaw
“Clean and cozy rooms, lovely hosts, stunning surroundings. The perfect base for exploring Calabria by scooter. Truly recommend.”
